Former Chief Scientist at CSIR-National Institute of (NIO), Dr Rajiv Nigam, has been selected for the 2022 Joseph A. Cushman Award.<\/p>\n

Highlights<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Dr Nigam, the first Indian to be chosen for the prestigious award, was elected for Excellence in Foraminiferal Research.<\/p>\n

He has been chosen for his outstanding lifetime contributions to foraminifera, also known as microfossil research.<\/p>\n

Dr Nigam will receive the award at the Cushman Reception during the 2022 Geological Society<\/a> of America meeting in Denver, Colorado, USA, from 9-12 October 2022.<\/p>\n
