In response to a notice issued by the <a href=\"<a href=\"https:\/\/exam.pscnotes.com\/4f8b3b8b13b36958398521dfc9596418\">https:\/\/exam.pscnotes.com\/<\/a>national-human-rights-commission&#8221;>National <a href=\"https:\/\/exam.pscnotes.com\/human-rights-commission\"><a href=\"https:\/\/exam.pscnotes.com\/human-rights\">Human Rights<\/a> Commission<\/a><\/a>, the Delhi social welfare department had once claimed to have accorded approval to the constitution of the transgender welfare board in the city and it was being processed for notification. The expectation that the board would be setupsoon hasn&#8217;t materialised.<\/p>\n<p>In 2021, the Union social <a href=\"https:\/\/exam.pscnotes.com\/justice\">Justice<\/a> ministry initiated 13 shelters for transgenders known as &#8220;Garima Greh&#8221;.
