The second Thursday in October is designated as World Sight Day. And this year the day was observed on 14 October. It is the most important day in the eye Health<\/a> calendar for advocacy and Communication<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This day is a global initiative to raise awareness about blindness and vision impairment.<\/p>\n

It was founded in the year 2000 by the Lions Club International Foundation’s Sight First Campaign.<\/p>\n

It is observed with the goal of bringing disability and blindness to the attention of the entire world.<\/p>\n
