The Karnataka BJP legislature party on Tuesday evening had elected Basavaraj Bommai as its new leader to succeed outgoing chief ministerB S Yediyurappa.<\/p>\n

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Yediyurappa took to twitter to congratulate the new chief minister.<\/p>\n
