Haryana deputy chief ministerDushyant Chautalashared this information on Monday after presiding over a meeting with officers of the panchayat department. Expressing concern overCovidspread in villages, Chautala said 8,000 teams are being formed by the to increase Covid testing in rural areas. According to him, it is mandatory to set up Covid treatment facilities in villages to curb Covid infection in rural areas, for which the state government would provide funds to panchayats immediately.<\/p>\n

Dushyant said the government would allocate funds of Rs 30,000 to all villages having Population<\/a> of less than 10,000 and Rs 50,000 for those with more than 10,000 population.
