{"id":13104,"date":"2024-06-14T15:34:45","date_gmt":"2024-06-14T15:34:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/exam.pscnotes.com\/current-affairs\/?p=13104"},"modified":"2024-06-14T15:34:45","modified_gmt":"2024-06-14T15:34:45","slug":"telangana-excelled-on-health-front-says-niti-aayog-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/exam.pscnotes.com\/current-affairs\/telangana-excelled-on-health-front-says-niti-aayog-report\/","title":{"rendered":"Telangana excelled on health front, says Niti Aayog report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A new<u>Niti<\/u>Aayog report has praised<u><\/u>not just for attaining universal immunisation of children, but also for its <a href=\"https:\/\/exam.pscnotes.com\/health\">Health<\/a> centres, modern operation theatres and labour rooms.<\/p>\n<p>The health index of states titled Healthy States, Progressive India, has listed Telangana, Uttar Pradesh and Assam as the top three ranking states in terms of annual <a href=\"https:\/\/exam.pscnotes.com\/growth\">Growth<\/a> performance.<br \/> The report analysed the health conditions in the states between 2018-19 and 2019-20 and has said that Telangana is a top performer in many aspects.<\/p>\n<p>While stating that all district hospitals certified under<u>LaQshya<\/u>and<u>Kayakalp<\/u>scored more than 70%, the report added there were no vacancies of auxiliary nurse midwifes (ANMs) in sub centres and medical officers in primary health centres (PHCs).<\/p>\n<p>In terms of incremental performance, Telangana made major gains with nearly half the indicators in the fully achieved, most improved or improved category.<\/p>\n<p>It further said that only five larger states and two smaller states, showed good overall performance and continued to improve on their health index score from the <a href=\"https:\/\/exam.pscnotes.com\/base-year\">Base Year<\/a> (2018-19) to reference year (2019-20) for the analysis.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A newNitiAayog report has praisednot just for attaining universal immunisation of children, but also for its Health centres, modern operation theatres and labour rooms.
