The had launched a Health<\/a> check-up scheme in about 5,000 villages on May 15 following an increase ofCovid-19cases in rural areas ofHaryana.<\/p>\n

So far, 75,000 Covid tests have been carried out in rural areas of the state. Out of them, only 562 have people have tested positive so far a positivity rate of 0.7%. With this, health department officials said they have been able to contain Covid spread in rural areas.<\/p>\n

In 164 rural areas of Gurgaon with a Population<\/a> of over 3.8 lakh, only 24 people have tested positive. Around 1.7 lakh people in these villages have been screened so far, out of which 1,480 were found to have influenza-like illnesses (ILI).<\/p>\n
