Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said the government is always ready to empower the steel sector, which he underlined performed even during the Covid-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n

He was addressing the All India Steel Conclave, attended by steel industrialists from across the country.<\/p>\n

He said the steel is the backbone of the state’s economy<\/a>. The last few years the industry has been facing many challenges.<\/p>\n

The states Industrial Policy<\/a> backed the industries and they continued with their production even during the pandemic. The power tariff exemption and ensuring coal supply was done to support the sector, he said.<\/p>\n
