It also gives a certain level of immunity to the security forces in case of an operation going wrong.<\/p>\n<p>The act was first imposed in Assam in 1990, by<u>ministry of <a href=\"https:\/\/exam.pscnotes.com\/home\">Home<\/a> affairs<\/u>when the state had witnessed large scale violence by<u>ULFA<\/u>.
