The topper has dropped to number four this year.<\/p>\n<p>While the pandemic led to a drop in donations in Maharashtra-75 in 2020 and 85 in 2021-some other states registered a rise during the trying time.  climbed from 75 in 2020 to 170 this year. Gujarat, which had 70 donations in 2021, has 50% more donations than Maharashtra this year with 126 donors.
