Chief ministerN BirenSingh has said his government aimed to empower the minority sections of the Society<\/a>, and to take them along in the path of development. He was speaking at the 9th State Level Chaga Ngee Festival atMakuilongdi-II, Liang-Nam, in Naga-dominated Senapati district.<\/p>\n

The CM also said the Heritage Park, which is being constructed at Makhel at a cost of Rs 6 crore, would be completed within a few weeks.
Biren said the Liangmai community of the state did not have access to certain benefits of the governments welfare programmes earlier.
