Citing the report, Congress general secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala has accused the BJP-JJP led  of pushing the future of the state&#8217;s youth into darkness.<\/p>\n<p>The Chief Minister said that the State Government has the data from Parivar Pechchan Patra (family ID cards) in which people who say they are unemployed have given self-declaration. As per the data, about 5-6 lakh are those who call themselves unemployed.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Out of these 5-6 lakh too, 2 to 2.5 percent are those who remain unemployed for a brief period, eg. while changing jobs or for a few months after completion of their graduation, he said.<\/p>\n<p>On unemployment rate in the state, Khattar further said that five to six per cent unemployment rate overall can be there in the state and that too includes factors impacted by COVID situation.<\/p>\n<p>Unemployment figures like 30 percent, 35 percent or 40 per cent, which means more than one-third are unemployed, are not correct.
