University of Hyderabad(UoH) has received funding of Rs 6 crore from the department of Biotechnology<\/a> (DBT) to take up research on plant metabolomics (study of small Molecules<\/a>) and proteomics (study of proteins) over a period of four years at Repository ofTomato Genomics Resources<\/a>(RTGR).<\/p>\n

Established in 2010, RTGR conducts advanced scientific research in the frontier areas of genomics, proteomics and metabolomics oftomatoin order to improve the Nutrition<\/a> and shelf-life of tomatoes.
