The cabinet of chief ministerHemant Soren approved amendments to fourJharkhand Staff Selection Commission(Jssc<\/a>) examination regulations of 2015 and removed two clauses which were struck down by the Jharkhand in the state’s 2021 recruitment policy.<\/p>\n

The clause, which mandated that aspirants would have to pass their matriculation and intermediate level examinations or their equivalent from Jharkhand-based schools, were struck down from the JSSC exam regulations (matric\/ Class 10 level), JSSC exam regulations (intermediate\/10+2 level), JSSC exam regulations (graduate level), and JSSC exam regulations (graduate technical level).<\/p>\n

The cabinet also approved the inclusion of Hindi, English and Sanskrit<\/a> in these exams alongside 12 existing regional languages, including Bengali, Urdu, Santhali, Ho, Kudhuk, andPanch Parganiya.<\/p>\n

The amendments were approved after 73% of the 7 lakh job aspirants voted in favour of conducting the exams based on regulations prior to 2016 after the recruitment policy of 2021 was struck down by the court late last year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
