In the past four to five years, they have systematically demolished the<u>mafia<\/u>and allowed development to take place, he said at the concluding session of The<u>Times of India Destination<\/u>Uttar Pradesh Conclave.<\/p>\n<p>Kant said UP had 28% of the countrys entire <a href=\"https:\/\/exam.pscnotes.com\/network\">Network<\/a> of expressways, with the government having given <a href=\"https:\/\/exam.pscnotes.com\/infrastructure\">Infrastructure<\/a> development a massive push.<\/p>\n<p>Kant said UP had a huge role to play in realising PM Modis vision of a $5 trillion <a href=\"https:\/\/exam.pscnotes.com\/economy\">economy<\/a>. UP is on its way to become the second largest economy in the country. Its contribution to Indias GDP is 8.5%, a result of its about 11% <a href=\"https:\/\/exam.pscnotes.com\/growth\">Growth<\/a> over the past few years.
