A ‘second Home<\/a>‘ for the elderly and a school for the underprivileged will also be set up in Sevagram, said Baghel.<\/p>\n

In order to foster the values, principles, ideals of freedom struggle and Mahatma Gandhi’s concept of Gram-Swaraj intact, a Sevagram will be established in Naya Raipur along the lines of Sevagram ashram developed in Wardha in 1936.<\/p>\n

The site also has two canals in an area of about five acres. Sevagram will be set up in the remaining 75 acres of land. Sewagram will be developed in such a way that there is a glimpse of the traditional rural building style of Chhattisgarh. Locally available construction materials will be used. The roads inside the ashram will also be in harmony with the rural Environment<\/a>.
