Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the campaign against chit fund companies will go on continuously. A special cell will be set up in the Police<\/a> headquarters under the chairmanship of an Additional Director General of Police level officer to take effective action against these companies and monitor the work of refunding the of the affected people. The State Government<\/a> will ensure that action is taken against these companies and the affected people get their money back. Chouhan was discussing with media representatives after planting saplings in Shyamla Hills Garden.<\/p>\n

Chouhan said that online gambling is a big problem. Presently the Gambling Act 1876 is applicable in the state. There is no provision against online gambling. The state government has decided to enact Madhya Pradesh Gambling Act 2023 to replace the present Gambling Act. Adequate provisions will be incorporated in the new Act against online gambling, so that criminals indulging in these activities can be punished.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
