Agriculture<\/a>-notes-for-state-psc-exams”>Agriculture<\/a> Minister Virender Kanwar today said the second phase of the Himachal Pradesh Crop Diversification Promotion Project would be implemented in all 12 districts of the state and Rs 1,010 crore would be spent under the project to promote cultivation of crops other than those traditionally grown by farmers.<\/p>\n

Kanwar said the first phase of the project was implemented in five districts through 250 sub-projects located in various panchayats. Agriculture such as Irrigation<\/a> Network<\/a>, mechanical farm machinery and community polyhouses were created to demonstrate new techniques to farmers.<\/p>\n
