The state-of-the-art Physical Referral Rehabilitation Center here is giving a ray of hope to thousands of differently-abled persons by providing them artificial limbs, wheelchairs as well as physiotherapy.<\/p>\n
People from Chhattisgarh and neighbouring states come to the center for artificial limbs.<\/p>\n
In collaboration with the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC), the Center provides free-of-cost artificial limbs to Divyangs and training on limb movement and maintaining balance.<\/p>\n
Special equipment is made for the rehabilitation of patients suffering from cerebral palsy. Such patients have a lack of balance in walking. They get free of cost wheelchairs and other chair so that the patients can eat, sit and read easily.<\/p>\n
Along with this, special physiotherapy equipment is available for the convenience of such patients.<\/p>\n
Apart from this, artificial limbs, calipers and other assistive accessories are made according to needs.<\/p>\n
So far, 3,740 patients have benefited with 5,258 artificial limbs and devices through the centre.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
