Agriculture<\/a>-notes-for-state-psc-exams”>Agriculture<\/a> Minister Ravindra Choubey on Monday said the Chhattisgarh Shakambhari Board has been constituted to encourage farmers involved in vegetable cultivation.<\/p>\n

crops should also be promoted in the state to get the benefit of government schemes, he said.<\/p>\n

Choubey was addressing the inauguration of the new office of the Board at the Indira Gandhi Agricultural University Campus at Labhandi (Jora).<\/p>\n

Board Chairman Ramkumar Patel and members Dukhvaram Patel, Anurag Patel, Hari Patel and Pawan Patel were present.<\/p>\n

The Minister said: Chherchera Shakambhari Jayanti has a special importance in local life in the state. It is a festival of giving, charity and social harmony. It eliminates the difference between big and small.<\/p>\n

“Maa Shakambhari is adorned with vegetables and worshiped.
