Chief ministerBhupesh Baghelhas stressed on the need to promote the production of organic manure and vermicomposting at national level to encourage which can help in overcoming chemical fertilizer shortage.<\/p>\n

Baghel said thatChhattisgarhis the only state in the country to have declared support price to produce Kodo, Kutki and Ragi. The millet production is being promoted in the state under the Millet Mission. Seven districts of Bastar division, five of Surguja along with Kawardha andRajnandgaonhave been included under the mission. Forest region have low Irrigation<\/a> capacity and Millets<\/a> take lesser time to produce. Hence, the production of millet in such areas can provide a good Source Of Income<\/a> to the dwellers. Arrangements are also being made to procure and market
