Mizoram Disaster Management<\/a><\/a> and Rehabilitation Minister Lalchamliana on Saturday said that the would soon sanction Rs 50 lakh as an aid for thousands of Myanmar refugees taking refuge in the state.<\/p>\n

The government had earlier sanctioned and disbursed Rs 30 lakh for the same purpose which was distributed by deputy commissioners of Mizoram districts where refugees have been taking shelter.<\/p>\n

In Myanmar border northeastern Champhai district, the Mizoram Synod gave Rs 8.11 lakh while through 8 pastorals while it disbursed Rs 5.2 lakh each through 2 pastorals in Hnahthial district and 2 pastorals in Lawngtlai district (both situated in southern part of the state respectively.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
