Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Wednesday said that Migration has been stopped in the state due to the governments welfare schemes.
Interacting with villagers of Bagarpali in the Khallari assembly constituency of Mahasamund district, he said people across the state say they do not need to move out of the state foremployment.
Quoting migrants at Janjgir, Jashpur, Saraipali and Bagarpali, he said the welfare schemes have helped to improve economic prosperity among the people. It is a good sign.
A committee has been announced to study the social changes due to implementation of the schemes, he said.
On Rural Industrial Parks (RIP), Baghel said the government will set them up in each block for which government land and Rs 2 crore have been approved.
Approach roads and electricity will be made available at half rate. The aim is to financially empower the rural residents.
