WaltairRailwayDivision created HISTORY by showing stellar performance in all the departments. Despite many odds, the division saw its best performance in loading, passenger traffic andrevenue, energy conservation, safety, catering, ticket checking, non-fare revenue, sundry earnings and others.
The division earned revenue to the tune of Rs. 9,294 crore by ferrying 27.86 million passengers safely to their destinations and transporting 69.63 million tonnes of freight to various parts of the country by adding Rs. 800 crore revenue and 3 MT freight in this fiscal compared to previous years performance. All these are the best-ever records in the history of theWaltair Divisionand surpassed the targets set by theRailway Board.
