‘Uttarakhand 1st’: Naini civic body to digitise records

In the first such initiative inUttarakhand, the ofNainitalwill start digitising information in its files, maps and other records.
Officials said the move will help not only the administration, but also residents. Now, instead of filing RTIs, people can access information like land records on the municipality’s website.
