UP to start happiness curriculum pilot project from this session

Uttar Pradesh governmentis likely to introduce a happiness curriculum as apilot projectfrom this academic session. To be called realisation curriculum, it would be introduced in Mathura schools this session onwards.

The District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) in Mathura has sought the permission of director general, school education, Vijay Kiran Anand, to implement the course in 200 primary and upper primary schools of the district.
The happiness curriculum was first introduced by the Delhi government in 2018. Shravan Kumar Shukla, a government school teacher in Gorakhpur, who was a core team member which developed the happiness curriculum in Delhi, has been approached by the DIET authorities for support.
