of 279 projects sanctioned for the state, 211 have been completed at a cost of Rs 5,288.29 crore.Under the water supply scheme, 8.40 lakh domestic connections have been given while the work on 2.04 lakh connections is still pending. At the same time, a target of 8.38 lakh connections has been set for sewer connections, out of which 5.73 lakh domestic connections have been given and 2.65 lakh connections are in progress.
