It is necessary to authenticate the Aadhar information of all members of the ration card for implementation of One Nation, One Ration Card Scheme.
Food Department officials said there are continuous problems in food distribution due to incorrect and unverified Aadhar information. The e-KYC process is free of charge and is available at government fair price shops equipped with e-pos.
