Ladhpura Khas is a village in Niwari District of Madhya Pradesh. It has been nominated by the Union Ministry of Tourism as the “Best Tourist Village” category of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) Awards. Ladpura Khas village is located near tourist town Orchha.
Highlights:
The Rural Tourism Project has been commenced in villages throughout Madhya Pradesh, including in Ladpura Khas.
Objective: Giving shape to the idea of village tourism by adding new dimensions.
In the subsequent 5 years, a hundred villages will be developed from the point of view of rural tourism.
Among them, suitable sites will be selected and developed around tourist destinations, including Orchha, Khajuraho, Mandu, Pachmarhi, Tamia, Sanchi, Panna , Sanjay Dubri National Park, Bandhavgarh National Park, Pench and Kanha National Park.
