Bundelkhand Expressway was recently inaugurated in Jalaun, Uttar Pradesh by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Bundelkhand Expressway is a 296 km long expressway.
It will pass through 7 districts and lastly connect with Agra- Lucknow expressway.
The expressway will provide a seamless connectivity and boost economic progress in this region, by bringing in an industrial boom.
The Bundelkhand expressway starts at Bharatkoop in Chitrakoot district. It connects with the Agra-Lucknow expressway at Kudrail village in Etawah district. It crosses seven districts namely, Chitrakoot, Mahoba, Banda, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Aurraiya, and Etawah. It crosses rivers like Bagen, Ken, Birma, Shyama, Betwa, Chandawal, Yamuna, and Sengar.
