Bastaradministration has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) to provide a free Wi-Fi Network in 108 village panchayats in two months in order to increase connectivity for the benefit of youth in the tribal district ofChhattisgarh.
This scheme is all about creating a free Wi-Fi zone and the sole intent behind it is to connect youths to the rest of the world. Students pursuing their studies in the university, colleges, high school and higher secondary schools in Bastar are almost cut off from the rest of the world. They are unaware of what is happening around them as far as competitions at different levels state, national and international levels – are concerned.
