Tourist places being developed in Simdega to give boost to livelihood

In a bid to boost tourism in the district, Simdega District Administration has given new look to tourist places like Kelaghagh, Dangaddi, Ketungadham located in Simdega, which is not only attracting tourists towards itself, but the livelihood of the local people is also getting empowered.

here are many such tourist places in Simdega, which cannot be ignored. Bhanwar Pahar is one of these which are a symbol of mythological heritage. It is said that Bhanwar Pahar has been instrumental in killing the enemies during the war. The district administration has marked the heritage of it and the hill to be recognized as a tourist spot. In order to see the panoramic view of the mountain and to make the people aware of the specialty of the mountain, the work of beautifying it has been launched on the ground. Soon the work of beautification of the mountain will be completed and handed over to the tourists.

Facilities like solar high mast Light, Police OP, lattice fence along the railing, canteen have been restored at Kelaghagh tourist site adjacent to the district headquarters. Other tourist places like Kelaghagh, Dangaddi, Ketungadham are being developed on a large scale. The facilities which were being missed by the tourists are being restored. Watchtower high mast lights are being set up along with construction of community toilets in Dangdi. Due to the development work being done in Dangdi according to the convenience of the tourists, now every day local villagers are setting up food shops there, from which they are also earning.
