Tourism department has laid out roadmap for aggressive promotion of its destinations and leisure activities, while attracting investments in the sector.
Recently, the department held a business-to-business summit for tour operators from across the country who held talks with the travel service providers in the state in the two-day event.
Now, the department wants to holdRajasthancalling roadshows in key markets of the country to lure domestic vacationers.
Inflow of domestic tourists in the summer months was very good with hotel occupancy rising to 60-65% levels.
In the coming months, the department is also planning to go out to key source markets in the country to increase the footfalls in the state.
