To provide employment opportunities to youth, the Uttar Pradesh transport department will open 600 automobiles pollution testing centres which will curb the problem of toxic smoke (pollution) being released from vehicles.

The pollution check centres will be opened at the tehsil level in all the 75 districts of the state.
