The Terai Elephant Reserve is the3rd Elephant Reserve in Indiawhich is spread over3,049 sq km. The Terai Elephant Reserve includes protected areas, forest areas, and corridors for the conservation ofwild elephants.

conservation of four wild species including tiger, Asian elephant, swamp deer, and one-horned rhinoceros.
