The government, announced a reward of Rs 2 crore forPR Sreejesh, who was part of theIndian hockey teamthat won thebronze medalinTokyo Olympics. The cabinet also decided to promote him as the joint director (sports) in the general education department. Sreejesh is a deputy director in the department.
