The Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission called for starting a Yoga Wing in schools, holding yoga classes in urban bodies and yoga camps in rural areas.

Social Welfare Minister Anila Bhedia presided over the fourth general body meeting of the Commission here, an official Communication said.

As a pilot project, from next month, classes will commence in all the 70 wards of Raipur Municipal Corporation. A yoga wing will be opened in the schools.

The yoga classes and yoga camps will be held from September to December.

The meeting also gave Consent for yoga programmes for pregnant Women with assistance from Unicef. The project will be implemented in Kondagaon district.
