The Chhattisgarh Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department stall here is drawing huge crowds, with a favourite with visitors being a live working model of the Single Village Scheme (SVS) under the Jal Jeevan Mission.

The model displayed a water supply scheme for households in rural areas.

In addition, running water supply system in schools, Anganwadi centers, sub-Health centers and Gauthan (cowsheds) have also been displayed through working models.

Under the Jal Jeevan Mission, a target has been set to supply pure drinking water through taps to houses of 39 lakh rural families by 2023

A provision of Rs 850 crores has been made for the scheme in 2021-22.
