Agriculture-notes-for-state-psc-exams”>Agriculture Minister Ravindra Choubey said in a statement said that if the farmers start producing scented and fortified paddy, the government will provide them input subsidy of Rs 10,000 per acre,under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana.
Choubey said in the current Kharif season the department has proposed a target of 2.47 lakh hectares for this variety of paddy.
He said till date 69,203 farmers have been selected for growing this paddy.
