Commission chairmanVakulabharanam KrishnaMohan Rao said in the letter that OBCs constitute more than 50% of the Population. The matter requires your (PMs) serious attention in taking up the caste census without any delay.
Many states assemblies, including , have adopted unanimous resolutions for caste census to be undertaken by the Centre and Bihar has earmarked 500 crore for the census but s no response from the Centre.
