Telanganahas wrapped up more commitments during the US visit of the business delegation led by IT & industries minister KT Rama Rao, with Aurum Equity Partners (AEP) committing $50 million towards the development of cutting-edge data centers in Hyderabad.
Aurum Equity Partners, which invests in digital Infrastructure real estate data centre assets, has allocated this $50 million out of its just launched $250 million global Private Equity fund for investing in data centres and other infrastructure assets. AEP expects the final close of the fund in the first quarter of 2024 and plans to expand its investments in US, MENA and India.
AEP has also committed $5 million towards support deep tech startups in Telangana. These announcements were made in San Francisco at an event hosted by the Indian consulate.
