In a bid to streamline the setting up of ventures like amusement parks, 5-star hotels, resorts in agriculture zones of the State, the BJP-JJP led Haryana Government has come out with a new change of land use (CLU) policy.

The policy, approved by the Governor, has been formulated by the Town and Country Planning Department.

The new policy, which is framed in continuation to the governments guidelines issued last year for granting permission for a CLU to establish projects like drive-in theatres, Sports academies and banquet halls outside municipal limits, will keep a check on haphazard Growth of illegal buildings in Agriculture-notes-for-state-psc-exams”>Agriculture zones besides boosting investments.

The policy allows setting up a resort, amusement park or theme park in the agriculture zone in a minimum area of 2.5 acres while there is no limit for maximum area. The floor area ratio allowed is 0.5 and the maximum ground coverage is 30 percent while the commercial component will be 15 percent.

The conversion charges for the area under 15 percent commercial component of the amusement park will be charged at commercial rates and for the balance area, conversion charges applicable for recreational use shall be charged. For setting up a 5-star hotel, the policy allows a minimum area of 4 acres while maximum area will be 10 acres. The floor area ratio allowed is 0.75, the maximum ground coverage is 30 percent while the commercial component will be 15 percent.

Over 3K street vendors given loan in Himachal: Minister Suresh Bhardwaj

Urban Development Minister Suresh Bhardwaj said here today that more than 3,000 people had been given collateral-free loans worth Rs 3 crore under the PM Street Vendors Atmanirbhar Nidhi.

The state has 5,790 street vendors registered with the department of which more than 3,000 have benefited by this scheme, he said. Bhardwaj said the councillors and officials concerned would reach out to street vendors to make them aware of the scheme.

The minister directed officers of the Urban Development Department to communicate with banks to dispose of the pending cases. The scheme aimed to provide WORKING CAPITAL loans up to Rs 10,000 at a subsidised rate of interest for one year.

The Uttarakhand Assembly passed the supplementary Budget of Rs 5,720 crore on the third day of Monsoon Session. The Assembly also passed supplementary Budget demands of different government departments on the day. To establish the State as a hub of electronic manufacturing & system design, a dedicated Adityapur Electronic Manufacturing Cluster has been established near Jamshedpur under the aegis of Adityapur Electronic Manufacturing Cluster Limited, a special purpose company for the smooth functioning of EMC. Aditypur EMC is a greenfield project spread across 82 acres of land. The campus has 92 flatted factory units ready with plug & play facility. An area of 49 acres has been booked for open infra, which is ready to be allocated for 51 electronic manufacturing units.

The Government aims to attract an investment of up to Rs 1,00,000 crore through JIIPP 2021. To attract a large number of investors the Government has proposed many attractive incentive provisions. The proposed Jharkhand Industrial and Investment Promotion policy promises investors up to 100 per cent relief from SGST for up to 9 Years whereas 75 per cent for large scale industries which is again for up to 12 Years. The policy incentivises investors up to Rs 25 crore as a comprehensive investment project subsidy with an additional 5 per cent incentive provision for SC/ST/Women/Specially abled investors. Apart from these, the policy has provisions for Early Bird Subsidy, Anchor Subsidy, Interest Subsidy, Power Subsidy and many more.

534 blocks to get 1 modern ambulance each: Bihar health minister

The 534 blocks of the state will now get one advance life support ambulance each for transporting serious patients from remote villages to the nearest district hospital or medical college and hospital for treatment.

State Health minister Mangal Pandey said these ambulances would be equipped with cardiac units, portable ventilators, monitors, Oxygen and other life-saving medical devices. The initiative is part of the state governments preparation to face the likely third wave ofCovidpandemic.

As health experts have expressed fears that the third wave of the pandemic might affect children the most as they have not been immunised yet, the has launched an initiative to set up paediatric intensive care units (PICUs) at all the important government hospitals.

The Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission called for starting a Yoga Wing in schools, holding yoga classes in urban bodies and yoga camps in rural areas.

Social Welfare Minister Anila Bhedia presided over the fourth general body meeting of the Commission here, an official Communication said.

As a pilot project, from next month, classes will commence in all the 70 wards of Raipur Municipal Corporation. A yoga wing will be opened in the schools.

The yoga classes and yoga camps will be held from September to December.

The meeting also gave Consent for yoga programmes for pregnant Women with assistance from Unicef. The project will be implemented in Kondagaon district.

RBSK data to be used for comorbidity scan in Gujarat

About 1.6 crore children and teen are covered under the Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) (National Child Health Programme) inGujarat. The data will be used for assessing children with comorbidities in preparedness of the possible third wave of Covid-19 pandemic, said senior health department officials.
