Himachal Govt seeks public suggestions for state budget 2023-24

Ahead of the first budget session of Himachal Pradeshs newly elected Vidhan Sabha, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu-led Congress Government has invited suggestions from the general public, industries, trade and farmers association on the state budget for the year 2023-24.

Initiating the process of formulation of this years state budget, the suggestions have been invited to make it more people-centric, participative and reflective of the views of various stakeholders in the Society.

Over 3.5 lakh cases pending in Ukhand courts: RTI

Responding to an RTI, the public information officer of the said that more than 3.5 lakh cases are awaiting judgment in various courts in the state. Out of the 3.5 lakh cases, a total of 44,512 are pending in high court. The number of pending cases in the courts ofUttarakhandhas more than doubled in last eight years, theRTIquery revealed. The disclosure was made by thePIOof the high court to rights activistNadeem Uddinunder the RTI Act.

UP, Australia have a strong partnership: Swatantra Dev

Uttar Pradesh Jal Shakti Minister Swatantra Dev Singh said on Saturday that Uttar Pradesh and Australia have a strong PARTNERSHIP in various sectors including security, water, Agriculture-notes-for-state-psc-exams”>Agriculture, and the Environment.

“Certainly, through the Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit, our economic ties will undoubtedly improve, and Uttar Pradesh will advance in terms of overall development,” he added.

The Jal Shakti Minister was addressing the Australia Country Partner session held at the Bhardwaj Hall of UPGIS, which was also attended by Australias High Commissioner to India Barry OFarrell AO.

The Australias High Commissioner said, The citizens of Australia consider the world as their family. Australia is a country that has given respect to the people of Indian origin. Our trade is on the rise, and certainly, through UPGIS, our economic ties will get a new lease of life.
Swatantra Dev Singh stated that Australia, one of the world’s most developed and progressive countries, is a close friend of Uttar Pradesh. He mentioned that he visited Australia in December 2022 and extended invitations to strengthen ties between the two countries. An of Rs 9880 crore is being proposed with Australia, and six MoUs have already been signed.
The Minister also highlighted that Uttar Pradesh is rapidly developing under the direction of CM Yogi and emphasised the government’s commitment to protect the interests of investors.
He further added that Prime Minister Modi aims to grow India’s economy to $5 trillion, while CM Yogi aims to make Uttar Pradesh a $1 trillion economy in the next five years. Industries like Health, agriculture, and innovation are attracting international attention in Uttar Pradesh.

CM asks officers, employees to establish a better working system in State

Working system of the government is a continuous process. During this, challenges will continue to come and its solution will also continue to be found. Amidst all this you have to walk shoulder to shoulder with the government. You have to establish a better methodology. It is true that it is the job of the government to take a decision, but being the implementing authority, it is your job to put it on the ground and take it to the people, said Chief Minister Hemant Soren while addressing the first provincial session of Jharkhand Officer Teachers Federation at Jharkhand Technical University Auditorium.

He asked all the departmental officers and employees working as part of the government to make sincere efforts to make Jharkhand a safe, developed and advanced state.

The CM said that my government is moving in the direction of doing such work, which can set an example for the whole country and other states can implement it as a model. He said that it is our endeavour to create such a Jharkhand, where every person can stand on his own feet and live with dignity.

Kabir Sansthan to come up in Nava Raipur: CM

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel pledged to construct a Sansthan (institute) in Nava Raipur. It will include a Kabir memorial, a museum and a research centre. He was addressing the International Kabirpanth Sant Mahasammelan at Kharisa in Raigarh district.

He said Kabirs teachings were still relevant and continue to guides the Society.

Kabir has underlined that salvation cannot be attained without the blessings of the Guru. He worked to remove hypocrisy and distortions in the society by paving the path to lead a simple life.

Kolar to get citys second animal birth control centre

Delayed by about three months, second animal birth control (ABC) facility to sterilize, vaccinate stray dogs in state capital will be functional by the end of the month. Two more ABC facilities are expected to be functional by March end.

BMC has a dedicated wing for dealing with stray animals. Penalties are being imposed and owners of cattle are sensitised about movement of stray cattle on city roads. A census by the veterinary department in 2019 estimated there are around 10,000 domesticated dogs in Bhopal. The number of stray dogs could be 1.3 to two lakh dogs in the state capital.

Last October, 35% of all the complaints across MP were linked to stray animals in public places. Around 22% of the complaints were unresolved.
Currently the number of dogs sterlisations being conducted is low. Three times more puppies are born per day, according to BMC experts.

Gujarat Technological University gets A+ grade from NAAC

TheGujarat Technological University(GTU) that applied for the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) after a decade of its establishment, received A+ grade accreditation.

GTU was inspected by a team from NAAC from February 9 to 11. The application for NAAC recognition can be made only after the first batch of postgraduate students pass out from a university. GTU started its PG course in 2017 and the first batch passed out this year, so in November the university had applied for the recognition.

Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot urges private hospitals to support health Bill

CM Ashok Gehlot inaugurated a private hospital and expressed displeasure at the ongoing protests by private hospital owners against theRight to HealthBill.
Training his guns at theprivate hospitals, Gehlot said medical profession is a service and not a means of making . “But since they are making money, they do not want thisBill. They should not do so,” he said.

The CM further said that healthcare and Education have been placed under the category of service, not business, in the Constitution. Trusts or societies should be formed for the management of these institutions, and the money earned should be reinvested in those trusts or societies, he said.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Jayanti 2023 to be organized In Agra Fort

An official announced that Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharajs 393rd birthday celebration will take place in the Diwan-e-Aam area of the Agra Fort. The 17th-century Maratha emperor, also known as Shivaji Bhonsale I, was born on February 19, 1630.

It is being put on by the social and cultural organization Ajinkya Deogiri Pratisthan in coordination with the Maharashtra Ministry of Culture Affairs.
