Over 200 crore wage liability in Rajasthan under NREGA, states Lok Sabha reply

There was a pending liability of Rs 241 crore for wage component underMGNREGAinRajasthan(as on December 8), aLok Sabhareply has stated.
A wage liability of Rs 3,655 crore under MGNREGA is pending in the whole country (as on December 8).

Rajasthan is fourth highest among all states in terms of pending liabilities for wage component underNREGA.

Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti gave a reply on wage arrears under MGNREGA to an unstarred question raised by MP Kalyan Banerjee in Lok Sabha. West Bengal had a wage liability under the EMPLOYMENT guarantee scheme of Rs 1,526 crore, which was highest in the country. It was followed by Karnataka with Rs 613 crore and Madhya Pradesh with Rs 561 crore.

System performance was demonstrated at Drop Zone, Malpura from an altitude of 5000m.

This system was para-dropped from AN32 aircraft. After that, it was steered to the predesignated landing point in autonomous mode.

Eleven paratroopers of Indian Army and Indian Air Force chased the system in air and landed simultaneously.
