Punjab to give proprietary rights within Lal Lakir

Punjabchief minister Charanjit Singh Channi on Monday announced a scheme Mera Ghar Mere Naam to grant proprietary rights to the people living in houses within the Lal Lakir of villages and cities. The entire exercise in this regard will be completed within two months, he said.

Channi told media persons after the cabinet meeting, that earlier this scheme was launched only for the residents of villages, which is now being extended to the eligible residents of the cities within the Lal Lakir. He said the revenue department has been mandated to undertake drone surveys of such residential properties both in rural and urban areas for digital mapping. Subsequently, all the eligible residents after proper identification and verification would be given the property cards to confer proprietary rights upon them.

The scheme was brought in earlier for villages, but it did not work out as planned. Now we will extend it to urban areas too. The revenue department will use drones for this exercise to make maps. Objections can be submitted in a period of 15 days, said Channi.

Himachal Pradesh Government will set up a Murrah buffalo farm to get nutrient rich dairy products for people of the hill state and adjoining region, states Animal Husbandry Minister Virender Kanwar said.

The buffalo breeding farm will be set up at a four hectare plot in Una district at a cost of Rs 5.06 crore under the aegis of Himachal Pradesh and Poultry Development Board.

Murrah buffaloes, popularly known as Black Gold, are highly suitable for professional and organised Dairy farming for yielding high quality milk.

The State Government will set up three ultra modern sheds at a cost of around Rs 75 lakh to rear 50 buffaloes 30 of them adults and 20 heifers. The adult buffaloes will be brought in two batches while the heifers will be brought in three batches of 10 each.

Uttarakhand is currently 21 years old and by the time it turns 25, it will be a model state of India. The announcements being made by the state government are also being executed on the ground. A government order is going to be issued soon to raise the allowance of Gram Pradhans to Rs 3,500. Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said this while addressing a gathering at Gopeshwar in Chamoli.

Regarding the Char Dham Yatra, the CM said that the pilgrimage provides livelihood to a large number of people. The start of the pilgrimage has been received with considerable enthusiasm in the people, he said. At the Janata Milan programme, Dhami told the officials to resolve public grievances in a simple manner. Receiving the memorandums of the people regarding their grievances, he said that these will be sent to the department concerned.

The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority in the last four-and-a-half years has drawn record-breaking investment, largely owing to the investor-friendly policies rolled out by the Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh.

The result can be seen in the fact that so far 391 big investors from across the country and from abroad have taken land to set up their factories in Greater Noida. These projects have raked in to the tune of Rs 26,530 crore.

Under this scheme, plots ranging from 450 square metres to 20 acres would be made available to the investors. Allotment will be done through interview or draw of lots in the first week of November on the applications received till October 31. With these allocations, the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority is expected to rake in about Rs 800 crore and provide job opportunities to around 3,000 people.

Jharkhand: Government decides to appoint history,civics teachers at government schools in non-scheduled districts

The has decided to appoint HISTORY/civics teachers at government schools in non-scheduled districts after The Supreme Court gave green Light on the matter.

The personnel and the Administrative Reforms department issued a letter to the secretary of schooleducationand Literacy department communicating the same. Education secretary Rajesh Sharma said with this decision, around 650 teachers are likely to be appointed in non-scheduled districts (those not notified under 5th Schedule). He added, The education department is working towards making large-scale appointment ofteacher.

Bihar govt to pay Rs 650 crore against crop damages

The state cabinet approved the governments proposal to pay compensation worth Rs650 crore to farmers against crop damages they suffered due to floods, excess rainfall and waterlogging, besides the ex gratia payment of Rs50,000 to the next of kin of each of around 10,000 persons, who succumbed to the Covid-19 infection this year.

The cabinet also sanctioned the transfer of Rs336.75 crore toAirports Authority of India(AAI) for expenditure on the acquisition of 78 acre land required for the construction of civil enclave and its running at Darbhanga airport.

The had earlier transferred Rs121.43 crore to AAI for the acquisition of 31 acre land in this regard. While the estimated compensation for the acquisition of 78 acre land has been computed to be Rs336.75 crore, the chunk of Rs121.43 crore transferred earlier will be adjusted. Accordingly, the remaining net transfer of Money to be made to AAI is Rs215.32 crore,

The generation of electricity from cow dung should be taken up on a mission mode, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said on Monday.

Already three gauthans in Raipur, Bemetara and Durg district are producing electricity. Soon, the villages should be self-sufficient in power generation.

The Chief Minister said the electricity generated from gauthans will be procured by the , generating revenue for the villages.

The Women self-help groups should not be given just the limited work of converting cow dung to vermi-compost.

Apart from community kitchen gardens, mushroom production, Fisheries, goat rearing, Poultry and, manufacturing different products from cow dung will be promoted, the Chief Minister said.

After Madhya Pradesh it is Nadu where 2.08 lakh first doses of vaccine have been administered and then it is Odisha where 1.33 lakh first dose vaccine doses have been administered.

Rajasthan govt to recall, review marriage registration bill, says CM Ashok Gehlot

At an event to celebrate the International Day of Girl Child, Chief Minsiter AshokGehlotsaid the government would request the governor to send back the Bill to amend the Rajasthan Compulsory Marriage Act 2009 for a review by experts.

A row had broken out after civil Society and rights activists alleged that the amendment encouraged child marriage and accused the government of promoting it.

Breaking his silence over the Bill, Gehlot in his address at the event, Hoslon Ki Udaan, clarified, The Supreme Court had given an order to register all marriages to safeguard the legal rights of children born out of wedlock and widows.

The Rajasthan Compulsory Registration of Marriages (Amendment) Bill, 2021 passed by the assembly had opened a can of worms after legal experts and activists claimed that it promoted child marriage by giving it validation.

Although a child marriage is voidable, it is also a punishable as well as a nonbailable offence against those who solemise it.
