321 top builders owe Rs 15,585 crore to Haryana; list of top 10 defaulters inside

Major builders in Haryana have defaulted on the payment of a whopping Rs 15,585 crore to the by way of the external development charges (EDC) and state Infrastructure development charges (SIDC).

Sources said realty giants were among the 321 defaulters with 137 of them being classified as major defaulters with over Rs 20 crore pending dues against each as on December 31, 2021.

The top 10 defaulters included Ireo SU (Rs 984 crore), Countrywide Promoters Private Limited (Rs 952 crore), Unitech Limited (Rs 823 crore), Supertech (Rs 622 crore), Ambience (Rs 599 crore), TDI (Rs 484 crore), Parsvnath Developers Limited (Rs 477 crore), Vatika Limited (Rs 475 crore), Ansal API (Rs 380 crore) and Raheja Developers Limited (Rs 354 crore).

Govt putting efforts for more investment in health sector: CM

Chief Minister Hemant Soren today said that the government is making continuous efforts to expand and improve the Health facilities in the state. People should get good medical facilities in their own State, it is our top priority. Addressing people while inaugurating the online Cath lab at Cardiac Unit of Santevita Hospital, here on Saturday, he congratulated the hospital management for setting up a world class and state-of-the-art Cath lab.

The CM said that efforts are being made to create such a strong health in the State so that the patients here do not have to go to the big hospitals of the big cities outside the State for treatment. This will not only enable them to get better treatment in their own Home, but will also get rid of the huge expenditure involved in it. Apart from this, various problems caused by going to distant hospitals will also be relieved.

Soren said that whether it is a government hospital or a private one, state-of-the-art medical facilities are continuously increasing here. Especially in Ranchi, now better facilities are being available for proper treatment of serious and serious diseases. He said that all the steps are being taken by the government for maximum Investment in the Health sector.

Include Bihar govt in process of choosing Sainik schools

Education ministerVijay Kumar Chaudhary, urged DEFENCE ministerRajnath Singhon Thursday to include the Bihar government in the process of selecting 100 institutes across the country for upgrading them toSainikschools, as announced in the Union Budget for 2022-2023. He had participated in a meeting of theSainik School Societys board of governors held under the chairmanship of Singh.

By involving the in the selection process, he said, the committee would have chosen high-quality institutions with adequate Infrastructure.

Cgarh reserves 10% industrial land for OBC

The Commerce and Industries Department of Chhattisgarh on Thursday issued a notification reserving 10 percent industrial lands in the state for the Other Backward Class (OBC).

The notification followed an announcement by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel in his Independence Day speech.

An amendment in the Industrial Policy 2019-24 has been done for the reservation.

Apart from reservation of land, the land premium rate has also been curtailed 10 percent for the OBCs.

The reservation would be given to industrial lands of the Industries Department and of the Chhattisgarh State Industrial Development Corp Ltd (CSIDC), the notification said.

Governor will inaugurate the 48th Khajuraho dance festival

Governor Mangubhai Patel will inaugurate the 48th ‘Khajuraho Dance Festival-2022’ at world famous tourist destination Khajuraho in the Amrit Mahotsav being celebrated on the 75th anniversary of independence. Tourism, Culture and Spirituality Minister Usha Thakur, Micro, Small and Medium enterprises Minister Om Prakash Sakhlecha and MP Vishnu Dutt Sharma will also be present. Principal Secretary Culture and Tourism Sheo Shekhar Shukla informed that the 48th ‘Khajuraho Dance Festival’ will be held from February 20 to 26, 2022. Like last year, this year also it will be the glory of the temple courtyard. It will be an unmatched confluence of devotion of God and dance. Renowned artists of the country and the world will give their dance performances in the dance festival. National Kalidas Award for dance and Madhya Pradesh State Rupankar Kala Reward will also be presented at the ceremony.

Govt to study Demoiselle and Common Cranes in Gujarat

A project on satellite telemetry ofDemoiselleCranes and Common Cranes was launched on Saturday by the Sasan-Gir forest department to understand its Migration pattern, habitat preferences, dispersal, as well as foraging ECOLOGY.

While the two crane species are enlisted as least concerned in Red List, they are protected underSchedule IVof Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972. The project aims to prepare a suggestive plan of action for long-term conservation of cranes inGujarat.

According to a statement it released, the forest department said it had tagged selected birds under this project but prior to the tagging, the team carried out a thorough, in-depth survey. They then captured two birds each of the two species with the help of skilled and experienced trappers and set them free after tagging them with solar-powered leg-band type GSM-GPS transmitters.

Three out of 15 species of cranes found globally are seen in Gujarat. Though they are under the Least Concern category, the global Population of Demoiselle Crane (Anthropoidesvirgo) and Common Crane (Grus grus) are estimated to be between 2,30,000 2,61,000 and 4,91,000 5,03,000 individuals, respectively.

Rajasthan border areas to have cybercrime police stations

Ahead of the state Budget on February 23, senior officers ofRajasthanPolice are optimistic of getting more Resources and facilities which would go a long way to curb increasing crime in the state.

It is likely that the state will soon have dedicated cyber police stations especially in the Mewat region including Bharatpur and Alwar along with new police stations in the districts close to other state borders.

According to the sources, the is also aiming to curb Narcotics smuggling in the state. In the year 2021, the crime branch of the state police, had conducted various raids across the state and seized big hauls of narcotics. Curbing narcotics smuggling is another challenge for us. So, in our previous meetings we had laid our emphasis on having a dedicated police force to curb narcotics smuggling or dedicated police stations for this crime.

Caste Census Databases Integration By NHA

The National Health Authority (NHA) started an exercise to integrate the beneficiary Database under several schemes for upgrading its database during a bid to implement the scheme better.

It provides Insurance of up to Rs 5 lakh per family per annum. Insurance is provided for secondary and tertiary care-related hospitalizations.

Under the scheme, 10.74 crore beneficiary families are identified from the Socio-Economic Caste Census (SECC) of 2011 on the idea of 6 deprivation and 11 occupational criteria, respectively, in rural and concrete areas.

The majority of SECC, 2011 also eligible for benefits under National Portal (NFSA).

As per Health Ministry, Aadhaar may be a common identity across most state databases.

It will enable the combination of caste census databases and ensure certainty on identifying beneficiaries through e-KYC. e-KYC enables target-based paperless delivery of Services.

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) launched a satellite called “INSPIRESat-1”.

It has been developed by the Indian Institute of Space Science & Technology (IIST) in association with the Laboratory of Atmospheric & Space Physics at the University of Colorado, Boulder.

It was launched onboard Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle PSLV-C52

It’s a student satellite with One Year Mission life that will study the orbital heating of the Sun and about dynamics of the ionosphere. The weight of INSPIRE-1 is 8.1 kg.

JITs In India

Department for Promotion of & Internal Trade (DPIIT) of India and Ministry of economy, Trade, and Industry (METI) of Japan held an annual meeting to review the progress under Japanese Industrial Townships (JITs) in India.

DPIIT and the States presented developed Infrastructure and land open for Japanese investors in these townships.

Japanese companies were requested for field visits to JITs to draw in investments.

DPIIT reviewed the status of JITs with METI during a virtual platform in Light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Japan Embassy in India and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) also partook from the Japanese part.
