The three years of pre-primary classes in schools would see modules on hygiene and healthcare, effective Communication and better understanding for children aged 3-6 years.
In a first-of-its-kind initiative, theRajasthanState Council of Educational Research & Training,Udaipur, has designed the three-year curriculum for government schools to keep pace with private institutes.
The content is fully loaded with graphics, illustrations and texts with localised examples catering to children who are first-generation literates. The three-year content will lead to improved outcomes, including better Nutrition, Health and Education in both the short and long run.
The pre-primary curriculum designed by the SCERT is a balanced one and there is a need to train the teachers to handle the kids.
