Haryana CM directs officials to do mapping of schools

Continuing with the series of direct public interactions, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar interacted with the eminent people of the Hisar Lok Sabha constituency and officials of various departments. He said the government holds such interactions with the public for four to five hours and ensures that during this time, they can freely express their concerns before him and the officials concerned.

The governments goal is to make peoples lives happier by resolving their grievances. Officials have also been directed to address concerns of eminent citizens on a priority basis. The suggestions shared by the eminent people at such meetings are also taken into consideration on a priority basis, said Chief Minister Khattar.

He said Education and Sports were a vital part of the overall development of any child. The government aims to open a primary school within a radius of 1 km, a middle school within a 3-km area and a senior secondary school within 5 km, added Khattar. He said an initiative had been taken to open libraries in villages with a Population of 5,000.

The Minister also focused on the need to give priority to all the sectors for funding projects this year including roads and bridges, Irrigation, drinking water and sanitation, Education, renewal energy, Health, Skill development, godowns, and Soil conservation to ensure the overall development of the rural economy.

Initiative to improve gender ratio in Mandi

Health Minister Dhani Ram Shandil inaugurated the Daughter Empowerment Initiative (DEI) launched by the District Administration here today. The campaign aims at improving the girl child gender ratio in Mandi district and the all-round development and empowerment of daughters.

The minister said, Daughters are an invaluable heritage and mothers of Society and the nation. To build a cultured society, it is our moral responsibility to educate and protect our daughters. Society and men do not exist without daughters.

The government has started many schemes to encourage daughters in every field. Besides, the Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques Act has been implemented to curb female feticide.

Childrens traffic parks to come up in Dehradun & Haridwar

The work of opening childrens traffic parks to raise awareness among the children about the traffic rules has gained intensity with the State transport department having already identified lands for these parks in Dehradun and Haridwar. The State transport department officers said that efforts are on to identify lands for such parks in other districts of the State.

With the steady spike in road accidents across the State, it is being increasingly felt that a mass awareness campaign should be launched to spread awareness among the common people about the imperative of conforming to the traffic rules to avert accidents. The State transport department officers say that the accidents principally happen due to the scant importance given by the people to the road safety rules.

The objective behind this move is to spread traffic rule awareness among the students playfully. Direction was given to the district transport officers to earmark lands for the park project in their respective districts.

UP govt to organise Yoga Week on a grand scale

In line with Prime Minister Narendra Modis motto of Har Ghar Aangan , the Yogi Government is gearing up to organise Yoga Week in Uttar Pradesh on a grand scale from June 15 to 21, on the occasion of the 9th International Yoga Day, which falls on June 21.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued directives regarding holding of mass Yoga sessions apart from other events across the state with the aim to take Yoga to every household of the state.

A detailed action plan has been formulated under which district-level committees have been formed in all districts of the state which will monitor the implementation of the action plan and provide necessary assistance in its execution.

As per the governments action plan, district magistrates will chair the district-level committees. The committees will also include the chief development officer, municipal commissioner, senior superintendent of Police, superintendent of police, chief medical officer, regional ayurvedic and unani officers, district homeopathic officer, district Education inspector, basic education officer, Sports officer, and representatives from non-governmental organisations as its members.

An array of events will also be held in technical institutions, agricultural universities, higher education institutions, medical institutions, and AYUSH universities across the state. A comprehensive programme is being developed in this regard and the government will allocate funds for it.

India and France leading the fight against climate change together since 2015: Emmanuel Lenain

Ambassador of France to India, Emmanuel Lenain paid a visit to Hazaribagh and toured important developmental landmarks of the town. MP Jayant Sinha welcomed the Ambassador and his team with a warm welcome note introducing them to the vibrant cultural and social landscape of Jharkhand and also to the development that took place in the past two decades.

The Ambassador also highlighted the robust relations of India and France in terms of trade and business with many French IT and consulting companies such as Capgemini opening up in India and providing EMPLOYMENT to a large chunk of the Population.

He recognized the need of a between the two countries which would expedite and improve the trade situation between India and France through reduction of trade barriers.

Lenain was presented with a token of appreciation consisting of Sohrai paintings and artwork done by the local artisans of Hazaribagh. MP Jayant Sinha beautifully expressed the connection between India and France in terms of art and said that local art such as Sohrai should also find its way on the global platform through collaborations with luxury and international brands of France.

State denies roof to poor: Giriraj

The Chhattisgarh government has denied the poor roof under the Prime Minister Awas Yojana. If BJP comes to power, houses for all the poor will be built, Union Minister of Rural Development and Panchayats Giriraj Singh said.

The Modi government has scored unmatched achievements for the poor, he added. Singh said several Central government schemes have been discontinued by the . It includes the 5 kg of foodgrains per person for the poor.

On paddy minimum support price, Singh said during the Manmohan Singh government the MSP was Rs 1,300 which is now Rs 2,200.

He said the Chhattisgarh government was taking false credit for paddy procurement as rice was being taken in the Central pool. He vowed to conduct an inquiry into the Narva-Garva-Ghurva-Bari scheme.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana will be a scheme to bring historical change in the lives of sisters. Team Madhya Pradesh has worked diligently for better implementation of the scheme. The efforts made in the districts to provide benefits of the scheme to about 1.25 crore sisters are commendable.

Social organisations, administrative officers and public representatives are giving a new dimension to the scheme. Eligible sisters should get the maximum benefit of the scheme, so that the work of transfer of funds for the scheme is done without any hindrance from the scheduled date of June 10 and the sisters start receiving funds, for this many innovations were also done in the districts. In the review meeting held on Wednesday late night, the public representatives and collectors apprised about the innovations made for the implementation of the scheme.

Gujarat dominates food safety index rankings

Gujarathas been consistent in securing top ranking inthe nationalfood safety index, said the , ahead of World Food Safety Day to be observed on Wednesday under the theme Food Standards Save Lives.

In 2021-22 assessment, Gujarat secured the second position among large states in the State Food Safety Index (SFSI) rankings. In the previous two years, 2020-21 and 2019-20, Gujarat held the first rank in theSFSIranking for large states. Goa claimed the top spot in the inaugural SFSI ranking.

The Union Government introduced the SFSI to assesses the performance of states based on various parameters. These parameters encompass food sampling, testing, laboratory Infrastructure, compliance, training, licencing, and registration, as well as the quality of available food.
