Education Dept to hold Vidya Samwad in all districts

The Education department has decided to hold Vidya Samwad in the State in the month of November under which the senior officers of the department would visit all the districts.

The Education minister Dhan Singh Rawat said that these discussions would be held in the first week of November as part of which the senior officers would interact with the teachers, parents and students. He said that the officers have been nominated at the directorate level to hold the Samwads.

Yogi govt to raise living standards of deprived communities in UP Action plan

In line with its commitment to transform the lives of the deprived communities, the Yogi Adityanath government has prepared an action plan to address the needs of the Musahar, Sahariya, Vantangiya and Nomadic communities in Uttar Pradesh.

According to the action plan, the government will not only provide housing facilities to these communities but will also work towards offering them EMPLOYMENT opportunities. Along with this, the government will work to improve their access to basic facilities, Education, and training in relevant fields.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued a strong directive to the officials for the welfare of these communities. The officials have been directed to provide residential facilities to these communities under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (both Rural and Urban) by allocating land through the Revenue department and facilitating setting up of businesses near their residential areas.

These families will be also linked with the MGNREGA scheme by providing them job cards by running a special campaign through Jan Suvidha Kendra. Apart from this, the officials have been instructed to identify all the families, ensure 100 per cent enrollment of their children in the local primary or secondary or higher secondary schools and provide scholarships to all of them.

Furthermore, the officials have been told to impart free training through district-level Skill development institutions to the adult members of the deprived communities in accordance with their level of education and employment capacity under the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Swarojgar Yojana of the Uttar Pradesh Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation Ltd.

Khelo Jharkhand’ to identify talented players from among 50 lakh school students

Aiming to identify budding talents, theJharkhand governmentis preparing to organise a mega sporting event for more than 50 lakh school students, an official said.
The best-performing students from the primary to the higher secondary level will then be provided the opportunity to hone their skills.
The event, named ‘Khelo Jharkhand’, will kick off on November 5 and will continue till December 15.

As many as 19,446 primary schools, 13,660 middle schools, 1,826 secondary and 510 higher secondary schools will participate in the event.
A total of 50,05,638 students from primary to higher secondary schools are expected to participate in the sporting event.

Now, doorstep Aadhaar enrolment for children in CG

Chhattisgarh chief ministerBhupesh Baghel announced an additional feature to MukhyamantriMitaanYojana which would facilitate issuing ofAadhaarcards at the doorstep of Home for children below or if five years of age. Speaking at the opening ceremony of National Tribal Dance Festival and states 23rd foundation day celebrations here, he said, Now onwards, the mitaan would make Aadhaar cards for the children at their homes and issue it. Citizens can call on toll free number 14545 and book an appointment.

Mukhyamantri Mitaan yojana was initially started at 14 municipal corporations and later was expanded to all municipal councils. Under the scheme, the birth-death certificates, marriage/ caste certificates etc are delivered at the doorstep of home.

MP govt takes loan of Rs 2,000 crore

Madhya Pradesh government is continuously borrowing funds. So far, the government, which is burdened with a debt of more than Rs 3 lakh crore, has once again taken a loan. This time the government has borrowed Rs 2,000 crore. Notably, this is the third time in the last 13 days that the government has taken a loan.

Actually this loan has been taken at the rate of 7.88 percent interest. The government will repay this loan by the year 2023. The Shivraj government had earlier taken the loan on October 14 and October 20. Both the times the government had taken a loan of Rs 1,000 crore. But this time Rs 2,000 crore has been taken. In this way, the government has taken a loan of 4000 crores within the last 2 weeks.

According to the information, the Madhya Pradesh government is going through a period of severe economic crisis. The has got a debt of more than Rs 3 lakh 29 thousand crore whereas the total annual budget of the state government is also not so much. This means that now the government has taken more loans than the total budget of the state. Due to huge debt, the Shivraj government of the state has to pay a huge amount every year as interest.

According to the information, under the Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management Act, the state government can take loans up to 4 percent of the state’s GDP. The government has the eligibility to take a loan of more than 40 thousand crore rupees, but so far the government has taken a loan of only eight thousand crores.

CM approves more services under guarantee law

Chief MinisterAshok Gehlot approved the proposal to bring new Services within the ambit of various departments of the under the Guarantee forDelivery of Public Services Act, 2011.

The departments mentioned in the proposal are social Justice and Empowerment department, industries and commerce department, urban housing and development, local self-government,Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation, the state pollution control board, Home department, transport and road safety, excise, energy, economics and statistics, tourism, food, civil supplies and consumer affairs and legal metrology cell.

The CM also approved the amendment in the notified designated officer/first appeal officer/second appellate officer for services in the departments of labour, food, civil supplies and consumer affairs, pension and pensioners welfare, urban housing and development (UDH), industries and commerce and home department. This is expected to improve the Quality of service delivery of these departments

Chhattisgarhs Karma, Sikkims Tamangshelo adjudged best

Karma dance of Chhattisgarh Surguja region was adjudged the best in the dance category while Sikkims Tamangshelo was conferred the first prize in marriage ceremony and other dance category.

In the Harvest category, Dhengsa of Odisha was adjudged second and Gaddi of Himachal Pradesh the third.

In marriage and other function category, Odisha got the second prize and Jharkhand the third.

A glimpse of the tribal milieu and its connection with nature can be seen in the Karma dance.

The dance is performed in memory of King Karam Sen and is one of the most popular dance forms of Chhattisgarh.

The traditional attire and beautiful rural ornaments of the vibrant folk artists of Chhattisgarhi were seen in the performance.
