Despite market slowdown, the States total revenue collection has crossed Rs 1 lakh crore by the end of third quarter of the current Financial Year 2022-23.
The total revenue generation from both own tax and non tax sources registered a Growth of 5.6 percent by the end of December of current FY 2022-23 over the corresponding period of last FY.
The total revenue of the State has reached at Rs1, 01,119 crore by the end third quarters of the current fiscal.
In spite of negative growth in grants from the Central Government by about 21 percent, total revenue has been increased by 5.6 percent.
According to official sources, the revenue generation from own taxsources increased by 13.51 percent with a collection of around Rs 32,029 crore by the end of December, 2022 against corresponding period of last years collection of Rs 28,216 crore.
Similarly, with a total collection of Rs 63,523 crore, the revenue from States non-tax sources grew by 1.17 percent by end of December 2022 in comparison to the corresponding period of the last year.
Accordingly, the total revenue generation from both the sources by end of December 2022 has increased around 5.6 percent over the corresponding period of last fiscal.
